First and foremost, I have to give Glory, Honor and Praise to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for me and my sins and then rising on the third day. "TO GOD BE THE GLORY".
My name is Marvin D. Womack and this is my testimony, no it's not my testimony it's God's, because if it wasn't for Him I wouldn't be here to share it with you now. I have been on drugs for as long as I can remember but for the past 8 months, I have been clean and sober, and before that I was clean for 4 years, until one night I ran into someone that I haven't seen since I moved to Charlotte and thought that it was alright for me to give him a ride and go to a strip club. It was a choice that has cost me alot, coupled with the fact that I caught my wife with another man, which I had already suspected took me over the edge. But everything happens for a reason. I went to jail, had a restraining order filed against me, can't see or talk to my son. But guess what I'm still here alive and kickin. Growing and Serving the Lord in a way that I could of have never imagined. While I was in jail God sent to me Elder John Jennings founder and CEO of Favar Ministries. What a BLESSING!!! God knows who and what we need when we need it. I am not only a client here at the house but I am also the Director of Housing over all of the houses now and the one's that God is Blessing us with in the very and I mean very near future. Since coming here I have been reconnected with the man who saw something in me when I didn't see anything in myself and that's my Pastor Elder Basil Foster of In His Presence Fellowship Ministry in Lancaster SC. I have also started a morning mens prayer confrence call that has men calling from as far away as Pittsburgh PA and former NFL players and following the confrence call which starts at 5:00am I teach bible study here at the house mon thru fri at 5:30am. So know this, that God is a Deliverer and Healer and if He has done it for me and is continuing to do it for me He will do it for you to, you just have to have FAITH, PATIENCE, TRUST AND SUBMIT YOUR LIFE AND YOUR WILL OVER TO HIM.
2nd Cor 7:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old, things are passed away; behold, all the are become new.
